Leadership Style of managers in Universities in Saudi Arabia |

The rapidly
changing world and the increasing demand for accountability in
the quality of educational institutions require excellence
leadership styles of managers in various institutions. This
paper examines leadership style of managers in universities in
Eastern Province and Middle of Saudi Arabia in terms
transformation, transactional, and laissez-faire leadership
style. A survey questionnaire was sent to various managers in
various academic institution in the Eastern region of Saudi
Arabia and the majority of various managers of various
universities in the Eastern province rated themselves as
transformational leaders seconded by transactional leadership
style.
