Comparative study of Pakistani coal using different methods

Abstract

This study was carried by standardizing national and international testing methods of coal. Methods for the determination of Moisture, Ash, Volatile matter, Fixed carbon, Total sulphur and Calorific value in fourteen different samples of Pakistani coal. The result shown in three tables carried out with different analytical methods (American Platinum crucibles method, British single-crucible method and Franco-Belgian double crucible method).
